My research is driven by a simple conviction, that biotechnology should translate into tangible solutions for food security, sustainable agriculture, and environmental health. Over the years, my group has worked at the interface of biopolymers, biosensing, and postharvest biotechnology to build affordable, field-ready technologies to Postbiotics& Probiotic functional food. I welcome students and collaborators who are curious about interdisciplinary, translational research and want to see their science reach the field, the farmer, and the food system.
